Gmail sending limits for cold email: how many emails per day is safe?
Google publishes hard caps: roughly 500 recipients per day for a personal Gmail account and 2,000 for Google Workspace. Hitting those caps with cold email is a fast way to land in spam.
A safe starting point
Begin around 20 to 30 cold emails per day on a new mailbox and grow slowly over several weeks. Well-established mailboxes commonly stay under 100 cold emails per day.
Leave gaps between sends
Sending one email every couple of minutes looks human. AceMail enforces a gap between sends and per-hour and per-day limits on every mailbox.
Scale with more mailboxes, not more volume
If you need more reach, rotate across several Gmail accounts instead of pushing one harder. AceMail can rotate a campaign across mailboxes while keeping each contact's follow-ups on the same one.
